Story 2Going the Wrong Way

Story 4Waiting for the Bus After Dark
Rosa is waiting for the 66 bus at Coolidge Corner. It is dark outside and the bus stop is quiet. Rosa notices that one part of the sidewalk is dark and one part is bright.
Rosa waits in the bright light in front of a store that is still open. She stands back from the curb so she is not close to the cars. When the bus comes, Rosa steps forward so the driver can see her.
